Line of Events
Follow Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham as they have a long-standing rivalry come to a head. Coincidentally, Aidan Turner has filmed at Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals). The same filming location was also used to portray Trenwith House in the BBC’s 2015 television adaptation of Poldark. I really enjoyed this series, I watched the whole thing in two days. I couldn’t pick a standout character, all the actors did a fantastic job. I thought their facial expressions and the way they delivered their dialogue really added to the story. As an 80s fan, the set design, costumes and of course the use of music were a fantastic bonus. Whoever was in charge of the music: you are a genius. The timing of some of the songs was perfect. For me, the erotic scenes could have been less explicit, which is why I’m giving it 9 stars instead of 10. I really hope a new series is in the works, I can’t wait to see it!
