Line of Events
A retired CIA agent is hunted both by the agency he once worked for and by his own nightmares when, after almost three decades, an unknown person visits him unexpectedly. Production was halted in March 2020 due to government restrictions. During this time, Jeff Bridges was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and subsequently received treatment.

Bridges called the return a return after a “long weekend.” July 2022 on the podcast. This show starts out strong, with great action and a slow-paced story that keeps you hooked. When Series 4 hits you, things aren’t going so well.
Lithgow and Bridges is excellent
The Shawcat is a kind of boat anchor that delivers each line almost monotonously. None of the characters are particularly attractive. As the plot and action slow down after a few episodes, they are replaced by a lot of awkward dialogue.
Especially a bad copy
It seems obvious that the screenwriters tried to recreate the style of Cormac McCarthy’s The Counselor, but they didn’t do it very well. The more literary style of “Counselor” confused many viewers. I will continue to watch, I hope that things will go better.
